Biography
Dr. Matthew Gomez is an adjunct professor for the departments of Politics and International Relations and the Latin American & Caribbean Center at Florida International University. Dr. Gomez is a specialist in Mexican and South American politics. His research focuses on comparative politics, specifically democratization, crime and insecurity in the Andean region, and corruption impacts within the political institutional makeup in South America.
